Staraj się zaglądać do wszystkich pomieszczeń, niszczyć wszelkiego rodzaju wyposażenie (szafki, skrzynie itd.) i odkrywać sekrety kryjące się na przykład za osłabionymi ścianami. W ten sposób często dotrzesz do miejsc z potężną bronią czy pancerzem. - W miarę możliwości staraj się atakować przeciwników od tyłu. Niektórzy z nich stoją do ciebie plecami. Zakradaj się więc do nich po cichu i po podejściu na bliską odległość wyprowadzaj cios, który zada im duże obrażenia. W trakcie walki trudniej jest korzystać z tej taktyki, ale jest możliwe na przykład przy korzystaniu z czaru Modlitwa. - W trakcie gry będziesz stale zbierał nowe bronie, pancerze i inne przedmioty. Decyduje o tym parametr „Waga" wyświetlany na karcie bohatera na dole z lewej strony. Aby go zwiększyć musisz inwestować w atrybut siły lub wytrzymałości. - Pamiętaj, że starcia opierają się w głównej mierze na trzech statystykach - zdrowia, energii i magii symbolizowanych przez trzy paski w lewym dolnym narożniku (kolejno czerwonym, żółtym i niebieskim). Kiedy pierwszy z nich spadnie do zera twoja postać zginie. Żeby go zregenerować korzystaj z eliksirów z życiem. Pamiętaj jednak, że ich wypicie wymaga czasu, więc jeśli chcesz z nich skorzystać podczas bitwy, to znajdź bezpieczne i spokojne miejsce. Energia jest wyczerpywana podczas biegu, skoków, atakowania i blokowania. Odnawia się samoczynnie, jeśli bohater nie wykonuje akurat żadnej z wyżej wymienionych czynności. Magia jest wymagana do korzystania z rękawicy i rzucania czarów. Regeneruje się samoistnie wraz z upływem czasu. - Na swojej drodze będziesz co pewien czas spotykał punkty zapisu gry. Warto wiedzieć, że skorzystanie z tej opcji sprawi, że po ewentualnej śmierci odrodzisz się w danym punkcie i nie będziesz musiał ponownie przechodzić przez pokonany wcześniej duży fragment gry (jest to ważne tym bardziej, że wrogowie po twojej śmierci się odradzają - nie dotyczy to bossów). Jeśli jednak skorzystasz z zapisy gry to mnożnik doświadczenia, rosnący wraz z zabijaniem kolejnych potworów, zostanie zresetowany. Jeśli więc przy mnożniku 1,5 dostawałeś za zabicie zarażonego 150 punktów doświadczenia, to po zapisie gry mnożnik się wyzeruje i za zabicie kolejnego rywala tego typu otrzymasz 100 punktów doświadczenia. W punktach zapisu gry możesz również rozwijać swoją postać. - W przypadku śmierci tracimy całe doświadczenie, którego nie przeznaczyliśmy na czary lub umiejętności w magicznym kamieniu (tym służącym też do zapisu gry). Aby je odzyskać musimy szybko wrócić w miejsce, gdzie nasz bohater padł i wejść w interakcję z białą chmurą. W ten sposób przywrócimy bohaterowi utracone wcześniej doświadczenie. Należy jednak pamiętać, że chmura będzie dostępna tylko przez pewien okres czasu, a potem ilość odzyskanych punktów zacznie się zmniejszać. Informuje o tym licznik pojawiający się w lewym dolnym narożniku ekranu. Warto też dodać, że jeśli zginiemy i na mapie pojawi się chmura z doświadczeniem, do której będziemy szli i zginiemy w drodze do niej po raz drugi, to punkty doświadczenia z pierwszej chmury przepadają na zawsze. Należy więc zachować ostrożność. - Magiczna rękawica - niedługo po zakończeniu pierwszego fragmentu gry odnajdziemy magiczną rękawicę, umożliwiającą atakowanie wrogów z dystansu. This is especially true for many boss fights since a lot of them can just blow right through most shields with ease. * You can use a checkpoint and enemies won't spawn again... as long as you don't bank your experience points. * The more you kill enemies without banking your XP, the more total XP you receive thanks to a multiplier that shows on the bottom of the screen. If you die, that multiplier goes back down to zero. * When you die, you can go back to that spot and get your XP back, a la Souls games. There's a twist though – a percentage counts down, and if you don't reach the spot in time the XP disappears. * Explore the world thoroughly. Even in the first few hours there are a lot of areas to discover, which in turns results in more handy items and equipment. Just be careful though, as it's easy to get lost in Lords of the Fallen. * Unless you know you're going to be using magic a lot, spend most of your XP on attribute points. They will help more in the long run. * Always try to get behind enemies to backstab them. Backstabs often take out enemies in one or two hits.
